SCOTTISH micro investment consultancy CAM Ventures is celebrating a positive start to the new season with the promotion of key team member Kieran Turner from Chef Manager to Group Hospitality Manager.

Kieran, who joined CAM Ventures last year, has overseen the daily operations of the much-loved Angus Grill + Larder located just south of Brechin on the A90, creating an exciting menu which celebrates local suppliers, and developing the restaurant’s catering capabilities, which include an event catering food truck as well as Tayside’s newest micro distillery – Angus Alchemy.

Speaking about his promotion, Kieran has said; ‘I’m absolutely thrilled to have been named Group Hospitality Manager for CAM Ventures. Getting to launch Angus Grill + Larder was a fantastic exercise in celebrating the best of local, and with Angus Alchemy creating their own moonshine, vodka, gin, and whisky, I’m looking forward to supporting the businesses with their continued growth.’

Opened in February of this year, Angus Alchemy has set out to be industry disrupters, with an opening line up which includes Prickly Gin and Moonshine in both Clootie and Cranachan varieties.
