Water treatment specialist, The Siltbuster Group – Siltbuster and Siltbuster Process Solutions (SPS), has made two appointments in Scotland as it looks to grow its presence within the country.

Drake Meikle has been appointed as Technical Sales Engineer – Scotland, bringing with her years of environmental and process engineering experience, as well as significant industrial, municipal and construction sector knowledge. These skills make her ideally placed to promote the unique scientific processes behind Siltbuster’s products and solutions, and help Scottish businesses stay compliant when it comes to their water treatment processes.

The second hire is Brian Swankie, who will be the principal Field Service Engineer in Scotland. He brings with him a City & Guilds NVQ level 2 & 3 in Engineering Construction qualification, as well as more than a decade of experience servicing and maintaining water treatment solutions.

Rich Matthews, Managing Director of the Siltbuster Group, comments: “We are thrilled to have Drake and Brian on board. Not only are they both excellent additions to the team, but they further strengthen our presence in Scotland which is part of our ambitious growth strategy for the business. In the past we have had to support Scottish projects from South Wales, so it is great to see us improving our responsiveness and expanding in such an important area of the country for us. Drake and Brian are just the start of our Scottish plans, with more to come over the next 12 months.”
