TSF Finance, the Glasgow based independent broker for the SME market, has made three senior appointments following a successful first year.
Founder, Alan Anderson has appointed Stephanie Moyes as a director. Moyes joins from RBS.
Experienced restructuring and debt recovery consultant, Ian Close and former professional footballer, Lee Mair, both join as senior funding partners. Since retiring from football in 2015, Mair has been a cost consultant for a range of businesses.
The commercial finance brokerage has secured £31 million in funding for clients since launch in February 2018. In that time, TSF Finance has managed 120 transactions for a wide range of businesses from a number of sectors including construction, recruitment, wholesale food suppliers and the leisure sector.
TSF Finance founder and director, Alan Anderson, said: “Bringing Stephanie, Lee and Ian into the team marks a significant step in our ambition to establish TSF Finance as the biggest independent broker in Scotland. They each bring a wealth of experience from their diverse backgrounds. This is the first phase of our growth plans and we aim to be in a position to announce further new appointments in the next six months.
“The ethos of TSF Finance is that we are passionate about supporting local business. Since launch early last year, our growth has been entirely organic and we aim to exceed £35 million in funding in the next 12 months.
“At TSF, we challenge the traditional funding model and see ourselves as strategic partners for SME clients in Scotland. The business was set up because we saw a gap in the market for businesses looking for independent advice to finance their growth ambitions.”
TSF Finance services include invoice finance, asset finance, VAT loans, unsecured loans, commercial mortgages and bridging finance.
Alan Anderson was formerly a director of IGF business credit and head of sales with Bibby Financial Services.
