Wylie & Bisset joins North Ayrshire Council’s Business Consultancy Framework

CHARTERED accountant Wylie & Bisset has joined North Ayrshire Council’s Business Consultancy Framework, under which it will provide a range of financial and data analysis and succession planning support.

The Framework is an enabling programme that seeks to increase assistance available to those businesses in North Ayrshire with the greatest potential for growth.

Gerald McLaughlin, corporate finance partner at Wylie & Bisset, said: “We are delighted to join this enterprising initiative and look forward to assisting a range of SMEs throughout North Ayrshire.

“With regard to the provision of financial and data analysis advice, our remit will encompass guidance on such areas as: financial projections; funding applications; management information and analysis; digital accounting; financial management; alternative finance options and preparation for loans, funding or investment.

“And in relation to succession planning support, we will be offering information on such aspects as: exit strategies; preparing businesses for sale; board management; business continuity; safeguarding people and assets; company structure; company governance and risk management.”

Chris Watson, Business Growth Manager at North Ayrshire Council, added: “The procurement of these services by North Ayrshire Council is intended to address information and skills gaps of businesses in North Ayrshire. These interventions will allow the provision of basic information and support to allow the businesses to make informed investment and growth decisions.”
