Workflo Solutions creates new hub in Accrington as it plans next developmental growth phase

WEST Lothian company Workflo Solutions, one of the UK’s fastest-growing outsourced managed services providers, has expanded its operations in East Lancashire by moving to a 4000 sq. ft. facility on the Rising Bridge Business Park in Accrington, with plans in place to increase its workforce in the coming months.

The company, headquartered in Livingston, near Edinburgh, provides a range of outsourced business support service technologies for customers across the UK – document management; print, scanning and VOIP Telephony, IT Support, Data Security and Cloud Computing. It opened its first office outside Scotland eighteen months ago, identifying Greater Manchester as the most appropriate location to establish a north-west regional hub.

Its move to Accrington underlines the exponential growth Workflo Solutions has achieved in the north-west in a relatively short timeframe. However, Michael Field, managing director of the company, is also quick to acknowledge that Workflo Solutions is bucking the trend, expanding at a time when the economy has been so badly hit by the pandemic. As he explains, the aim is to help businesses across the region recover quickly for when the Government signals that offices can be fully staffed again.

“Rising Bridge Business Park is a great location for the next chapter in our development. The past 18 months has told us we were correct to establish a hub in the north west of England and as the country gradually unlocks from the pandemic, we’ll be ready to meet customers at our new showroom suite to help them refine their requirements as they adapt to a changing work environment.

Accrington is an ideal location providing 4000 sq. ft across two floors – combining a reception and open plan office area on ground level, together with a full product showroom and document digitisation suite on the upper floor. This will shortly allow us to increase our staff complement as well, with five new positions immediately earmarked for the new facility.”

Workflo Solutions was established in 2007 by Michael Field. Reporting to Michael is a regional sales and account management team, field engineers, marketing support and core administrative staff.

In addition to its Livingston headquarters and its new facility in Accrington, the company has offices in Glasgow, and Aberdeen. Workflo Solutions provides its array of services to a large and varied 800-strong UK national customer base.
