Works have started to create a new six-storey building containing 54 apartments on vacant land on Bell Street in Glasgow.

Grant Stafford Borthwick has appointed Clark Contracts to deliver the £7m project which will be delivered over a 14-month period.

In addition to the apartments, a commercial unit will be created along with tenant car park, bike storage facilities and lifts to all floors.
