NORDAN UK, one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of high-performance windows and doors, has unveiled a £50,000 refurbishment of the showroom at its Livingston headquarters in Scotland, showcasing its latest product range.

The company has also announced plans for a programme of events designed to engage directly with developers, builders and architects, including people building or revamping their own private properties.

The refurbishment is part of NorDan’s growth of its Livingston base just outside Edinburgh, which includes the doubling of its residential team, as well as expansion of teams including customer satisfaction and marketing.

It follows a record year for the manufacturer in 2023 when sales grew by 12% to £85million. The refreshed showroom will also be used to host open days and events to engage with the increasing number of customers keen to know more about NorDan UK products.

Craig Greenwood, Managing Director of NorDan UK, said: “Interest in NorDan is growing quickly and people need a place where they can see the products, see how they work, understand how they perform and the benefits they provide.

“We will be organising a series of open days during the summer and the autumn where end customers such as builders and developers can see the products. But we will also be engaging with architects, who are key to choosing windows and doors, to educate them on responsible specification and how NorDan products can help reduce embodied and operational carbon, as well as offering excellent performance.”

The redevelopment of the Livingston showroom follows hot on the heels of NorDan UK opening a permanent base in Cardiff to serve the market in Wales. There are also plans to open a flagship office and showroom in London, as well as creating a sustainability centre at its Livingston facility.

NorDan UK is the British arm of the Norwegian founded NorDan Group, a multinational business that turns over £450m from its European subsidiaries, employing over 2,300 people across 12 factories and 32 sales offices.

Its high-performance products are popular with both new build and refurbishment projects, including a growing presence in the affordable housing sector, counting ten of the twelve big G15 social landlords in London amongst its customer base.
