As part of the transformation of the brownfield former Viewforth High School site in Kirkcaldy,
Whiteburn Projects is delighted to confirm the completion and handover of 15 affordable
homes to Kingdom Housing Association.

The first tenants are already set to move in within the next few days, and each new home will
enjoy a great location within Whiteburn’s impressive and award-winning Viewforth
development.

As this neighbourhood of new homes for social rent comes to life, the delivery of a mix of two-
bedroom cottage flats and two, three-, and four-bedroom family homes signals the completion
of the first partnership between Kingdom Housing Association and Whiteburn Projects to
supply new affordable homes for rent in Fife.

Eve McCurrich, Managing Director for Whiteburn Projects, said: “We are pleased to have
completed the delivery of 15 much-needed affordable homes for Kingdom Housing Association
and to play our part in creating this impressive range of affordable homes as an integral part of
our Viewforth development.

“Seeing tenants bring an area of the development to life is extremely satisfying, as well as a
further step in delivering our master plan vision for the former Viewforth High School that is
creating a fantastic new community that complements the existing local community in this area
of Kirkcaldy.

“This has been a successful first partnership and we hope there will be further opportunities for
us to work together in the future.
