- 33% of UK adults don’t feel confident managing their money
THE annual campaign, organised by the not-for-profit, industry body the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) is seeking to empower individuals to make sound financial plans for the year ahead.
To mark the occasion, Acumen Financial Planning, are offering free, one-hour consultations (online, phone call or in person) to UK consumers interested in safeguarding their financial assets. It is estimated that 47% of UK adults don’t feel confident making financial decisions, the aim of the consultation service is to empower consumers on organising finance and receiving expert advice on reaching their life goals.
Throughout the week, UK consumers are being encouraged to think about their finances and take up free sessions with qualified professional financial planners. As well as initial consultations, consumers will have the opportunity to ask a planner a question in sessions throughout the week or offer written responses to individuals’ queries, have access to relevant stories and guides as well as access talks to local schools across the country to share the merits of financial planning as a career.
