SCOTTS, one of Troon’s beloved bars and restaurants under the ownership of the prominent Buzzworks Holdings, has introduced an enticing seasonal menu, showcasing the best of Scottish produce. The marina-based venue will feature a lighter lunch menu, sharing platters, and a special Christmas menu running from November 27, offering patrons a delightful dining experience until spring.

Scott Stinson, General Manager at Scotts Troon, expressed excitement about the new seasonal menus, emphasising their commitment to quality, local ingredients, and diverse options catering to various dietary preferences. He highlighted the special touch each dish brings, supporting local suppliers and ensuring the use of the finest ingredients.

Aligned with Buzzworks’ Love Food Feel Good campaign, the menu change reflects the hospitality group’s dedication to incorporating the best local produce into its dishes. The seasonal offerings include exclusive sharing plates, such as Buzzworks’ seafood-inspired ‘From the Sea’ sharing board and the ‘Scotts Grand Plate’ featuring a mouthwatering selection of flavors.

Scotts Troon Unveils New Scottish Produce on Their Menu

Diners can savor starters like the Lobster & Scottish Crab Tian with smashed avocado, cherry tomato, salsa verde, crème fraiche, and dill. The sandwich selection has been expanded to include options like a sumptuous chicken club, vegan BLT, and a delectable fillet of beef steak.

Global culinary influences shine through in a dedicated section featuring Tacos, Burgers, and Bao Buns. Seafood enthusiasts can indulge in classics like Fish & Chips, exotic dishes like Cod & Prawn Laksa Curry, and locally landed langoustines.

The dinner menu boasts specialties such as Thyme roast rump of Dumfries lamb, slow-cooked feather blade of Scottish beef, and loin of Highland venison, highlighting seasonal flavours and the finest local and Scottish produce. The steak offerings include new additions sourced from the Reivers reserve on the borders, featuring high-quality beef.

Sweet-toothed patrons can delight in dessert options like White & Dark chocolate fondant, strawberry and dark chocolate eclair. Vegan-friendly treats, including rhubarb & ginger cheesecake, are also available.
