Trump Turnberry, on the Ayrshire coast, has filled three senior positions.

Returning to Turnberry is David Main, Senior Sous Chef de Tournant. With over 20 years of experience, David began his Turnberry journey in May 2009 as Senior Chef de Partie before a move to Dubai beckoned. With an abundance of passion and creativity to his art, David has experience in world class hotels and restaurants across the globe, including the United Arab Emirates and China. After nine years away, David has now made the move back to Scotland, returning to Turnberry. Excited to be back at the resort, which has recently undergone an exciting transformation, David looks forward to bringing his international background, creative flair and passion for cuisine to his new role.

Looking after Marketing, Alison MacLeod has been appointed Marketing Manager for the resort. Alison, who was awarded the Marketing Leader of the Year 2016 by Marriott International, brings experience across two continents to the new role. Hailing from Ayr, Alison made the move back to the area to join the Turnberry Team. Tasked with devising and implementing the commercial marketing strategy of the business, the varied role will see her manage a wide scope of business requirements, from stakeholder and partner relations through to overseeing the creation of creative brand collateral.

Finally, the resort has also appointed Siobhan Moore as an Account Manager. Born and bred in Ayrshire and with local hospitality experience, Siobhan will be the key point of contact for many of the resort’s clients. Her new role will see her maintain existing client relationships as well as driving new business growth within the Scottish corporate segment.

Alison MacLeod, Marketing Manager at Trump Turnberry, said: “It’s a thrilling time to be working for Trump Turnberry. The resort has made substantial investment in its accommodation, dining and golfing facilities in the last year and with that there are huge opportunities for growth. The key to our continued success will be ensuring our loyal customers remain drawn to the resort, as well as growing the awareness of our fantastic brand and product offer across the UK and beyond.”

Ralph Porciani, General Manager at Trump Turnberry, said: “We continue to invest in the resort and to improve our offering to ensure our luxury status rings true, with people at the absolute heart of what we do. That’s why it’s so important that we recruit and nurture the right people.

“All three associates have experience within industry-leading companies in their respective fields. We provide a world class service at Trump Turnberry and this is only achievable by employing individuals who have impressive experience, passion and are an ideal fit for the brand. I’m delighted to welcome David, Alison and Siobhan on board and excited to see their progression as we continue to grow the business.”
