The Marketing Centre, a company which offers flexible access to highly-experienced and proven, part-time marketing directors is launching in Scotland.
Headed by Mark Gorman, The Marketing Centre team is set to support SME’s across Scotland grow their businesses by giving them access to highly experienced marketing director services.
The Marketing Centre joins the well-established FD Centre in Scotland, and is pioneering the concept of part-time marketing directors. The company was founded in response to the increasing number of SME’s looking to invest in marketing, but who are unable to budget for a full-time position.
Mark is a passionate marketer having worked in marketing services for over 30 years as an advertising practitioner, agency owner (1576 Advertising Limited) and marketing consultant. He is an experienced researcher and team builder with particular strengths in brand building. Actively involved in many national organisations, as Chairman of Creative Edinburgh, Honorary Fellow of the Marketing Society, Chairman for NABS Scotland and The NODS creative awards and a Fellow, and ex-Chair, of the Scottish IPA, Mark has his finger on the pulse of Scottish business spirit and entrepreneurship.
Mark will represent and be supported by a team of highly experienced marketing directors at the point of launch, including Craig Hall (Applecross Property, Teviot Creative, Hometech) and Alasdair Wright (Sky, AOL, Bertelsmann and Betfair), with further team members to be announced shortly.
