The Gate Launches new wellness concept

04/11/2019

Glasgow’s forward-thinking bar, The Gate announces new wellbeing concept – RESET with a series of workshops dedicated to wellness, taking place on Monday, November 4th.

By recognising the importance of maintaining good physical and mental health, the team at The Gate hope to inspire those in attendance to take better care of themselves and their bars.

In addition to free workshops tailored to health and wellness, The Gate will run Mondays as a dry bar, offering up a new menu every week featuring non-alcoholic beers, groundbreaking Scottish soft drinks and innovative cocktails made with Seedlip.

Open to everyone, the aim of RESET is to subtly create an alcohol-free environment where trade and the public can have a great time, learn something, share ideas and feel at ease.

RESET founder and Gate bartender, Phil Robins said:

“This is not an anti-booze campaign, what we are trying to highlight is that you can still have a great time without alcohol. The Gate will also be opened during the day for trade to utilise as a meeting space. The menu at RESET changes every week with Seedlip cocktails, raw sodas and a large selection of non-alcoholic beers.

“On the first Monday of every month, we will also be hosting a more in-depth session through-out the day into well-being in our industry. We want to make those working within the industry more aware of small changes which can be made to increase energy levels and productivity, reduce injury and sickness and provide building blocks for better sleep and diet.”

The first session happens this Monday 4th of November from 9:30 am with a free programme packed with cooking classes, stretching techniques and body maintenance session throughout the day.  Anyone interested in attending should confirm their attendance by emailing contact@thegateglasgow.com
