A Scots couple will appear on Dragons’ Den this week to seek investment for their subscription box business supplying monthly boxes of biscuits from around the world.

Falkirk based Fraser McIntyre and Sophie Whittaker will enter the Den looking for a £50,000 investment in return for a 25% stake in their business -The Biscuit Baron.

Now Fraser, 28, and partner of 8 years Sophie, 28, will pitch their company to the Dragons. They hope to win investment to support their business as they grow and spread the word of their biscuit boxes.

The couple said the experience was “one of the best experiences for the business”. Fraser said: “Owning my own business has always been a dream of mine, and going into the Den really helped us focus on our objectives and future plans.

“We know that many people love biscuits and we wanted to bring something different to the mix by importing biscuits from different countries with new flavours, styles and packaging for people to experience.”

Sophie added “We get lots of really great feedback from our customers including workplaces, schools and gift-givers, so we’re really excited to grow and keep bringing something different to all biscuit lovers out there.”
