Tarkett Sports, a division of the global flooring and sports surface leader Tarkett Group, has acquired Allsports Construction and Maintenance Ltd, a UK-based specialist in high-performance synthetic sports surfaces. The acquisition represents Tarkett’s first transaction in the UK and marks a significant milestone in its international growth strategy.
Founded by Gordon Thompson and based in central Scotland, Allsports has built a strong reputation over more than two decades as a trusted partner in the design, construction, and maintenance of artificial turf systems, multi-use games areas (MUGAs), and athletic tracks.
The company serves a wide range of clients across the education, public sector, and sports industries, and is renowned for its technical expertise and commitment to quality.
The acquisition will see Allsports join the portfolio of FieldTurf, Tarkett Sports’ global artificial turf brand, enabling both companies to leverage local market expertise and international innovation to deliver world-class solutions to UK clients.
