An independent financial services company has launched a recruitment drive in Scotland as it continues to grow its client base. The drive forms part of T L Dallas Independent Financial Services Limited’s wider strategy to build on its long-standing connections north of the border.

Director, Jane Maclauchlan, who has worked for the firm for 19 years, said: “We are keen to strengthen our presence in Scotland. We have deep roots in Scotland and a long history of supporting clients across the country. As demand for high-quality, independent financial advice continues to grow, we are keen to recruit more experienced advisers who share our passion for building long-term relationships with clients and providing advice they can trust.”

The successful candidates will work with both new and existing clients, delivering tailored financial planning and ongoing servicing advice, whilst building their own portfolio of relationships.

Jane added: “We want advisers who believe financial planning should be about relationships, independence and long-term thinking. Our strong administration and compliance teams provide support behind the scenes, allowing advisers to solely focus on delivering the best possible outcomes for their clients.

“There is also a collaborative culture within the firm and the opportunity to receive warm introductions through the wider T L Dallas Group. For the right person, this is an opportunity to build their advice business within an established and respected independent family and employee owned and managed organisation.”

T L Dallas Independent Financial Services Limited was established in 1993 as a separate company within the broader T L Dallas Group, which was founded in 1919. The financial services arm was created to meet growing demand from clients for dedicated financial planning advice. Its links with Scotland stretch back to the earliest days of the business, when company founder, Thomas Lessels Dallas OBE began his career in Edinburgh. With a team of eight based in Yorkshire and Cumbria, the firm services clients from as far north as Shetland, down to the Isle of Wight.

Over the years the T L Dallas Group has steadily developed its footprint across Scotland, opening a Shetland office in 1993, followed by Falkirk in 2000. Further expansion came in 2011 with offices in Edinburgh and Glasgow, alongside continued investment in the Highlands and Islands, through the acquisition of a 40-strong team based in Inverness, Elgin and Orkney, now operating as Nord Dallas and Caledonia Dallas.
