Sunny skies, sensational headliners, singalongs and surprise sets rounded out Tiree Music Festival’s (TMF) sell-out 15th edition as 2,300 visitors tripled the population of the island for three days of incredible celebrations.
The festival welcomed a special guest in the form of inspirational charity walker Craig Ferguson who, fresh from walking across the United States, travelled to Tiree to discover Scotland’s best multi-awarding small festival. He received a hero’s welcome to the island as he was piped down the pier by two young musicians.
TMF, which is located by the white sands of Crossapol Beach on the Inner Hebridean island of Tiree, also staged two surprise unique appearances on the Elevate Stage, with three members of Trail West leading a special session to mark 15 years of TMF, while electro trad pioneers Mec Lir rounded off a sensational Sunday by the shore with a unique collaborative performance.
From dawn until dusk, festivalgoers had their dancing shoes on, with ceilidhs and congas galore, including during a special TMF 15th edition Take the Floor ceilidh led by Highland musician Gary Innes.
The final stand out moment came as Tiree’s own Skerryvore closed out the weekend in the Big Top, paying tribute to the unmatched island audiences and festival volunteers.
Other highlights across the weekend included performances from the legendary Dougie MacLean, Tide Lines, Skipinnish, Sharon Shannon, DLÙ, Dàna, Riley, Nick Morgan and more.
Visitors immersed themselves in the best of Tiree culture with everything from a beach yoga session of 200 people to surfing, swimming, seafront saunas, breathwork sessions, a Myths and Legends fancy dress competition and beach games for kids.

Since its launch in 2010, TMF has achieved 15 consecutive sell outs, won 14 national awards and contributed more than £11 million to the local economy.
