Studio King Street, a joint venture with Johnston Media, has been shortlisted for the New Business of the Year category at the 2026 Stirling Business Awards.

The nomination recognises the studio’s rapid growth and its significant contribution to Stirling’s creative and business community.

Since its launch, Studio King Street, located in the heart of Stirling city centre, has become a hub for local businesses and content creators, offering professional podcast and video production services that showcase Stirling’s entrepreneurs and enterprises.

The studio combines state-of-the-art equipment with a relaxed, welcoming environment, designed to make anyone feel at home while creating content. A variety of packages are available, from DIY audio recording to fully supported audio and visual production.

For clients needing multi-day recording sessions, on-site accommodation is available at the boutique King Street Aparthotel – which has also been shortlisted in the awards in the Accommodation of the Year category.

The studio also produces the Stirling Business Podcast, which has featured a wide array of local leaders, entrepreneurs, and businesspeople, sharing insights on the local economy, innovation, and extraordinary personal stories.

“We are delighted to be shortlisted for the Stirling Business Awards 2026,” said Neil Munday, Founder of Studio King Street and King Street Aparthotel. “This recognition reflects not only the dedication of our team but also the incredible local businesses and entrepreneurs who trust us as somewhere they can come to tell their stories or bring their guests. It’s an honour to be part of Stirling’s growing creative and business community.”

He continued: “Through the Stirling Business Podcast, we’ve been able to highlight the innovation and remarkable journeys of our local leaders. Being acknowledged for our impact at such an early stage is incredibly motivating for our team and our collaborators.”

The Stirling Business Awards celebrate the achievements of businesses across the region, recognising innovation, growth, and community contribution. Studio King Street and King Street Aparthotel join a select group of forward-thinking businesses recognised for their impact on Stirling’s local economy and creative scene.

“This is a fantastic example of how partnerships and local collaboration can create something meaningful for our community,” said Steve Cornwallis, a local entrepreneur and recent podcast guest.

“Studio King Street isn’t just a place to record audio or video – it’s a hub where ideas are shared, connections are made, and Stirling’s business and creative talents are given a platform to shine. The team’s dedication to supporting local entrepreneurs and bringing high-quality content to life is inspiring and it’s exciting to see them recognised at such an early stage. Facilities like this strengthen our local economy and culture, showing how innovation and collaboration can go hand in hand to make Stirling an even more vibrant place to live and work.”

Studio King Street is proud to be part of Stirling’s thriving business ecosystem and looks forward to the winners of the Stirling Business Awards being announced in March 2026.
