Stronachs LLP, a leading independent law firm with offices in Aberdeen and Inverness, has announced that Callum Armstrong, Partner in the firm’s Corporate team, has been shortlisted as ‘Rising Star of the Year’ in the Legal 500 Scotland Awards 2024.

The Legal 500 is an annual legal publication that reviews and ranks law firms and lawyers in over 150 jurisdictions based on considerable feedback from clients and peers.

The awards recognise outstanding talent from lawyers, law firms and in-house legal departments across Scotland. The shortlist and winners are based on the Legal 500’s market-leading independent research for the annual UK Solicitors guide.

Callum regularly advises both domestic and international clients on a wide variety of general corporate work.

He specialises in share or asset acquisitions/disposals, corporate reorganisations and commercial contracts, including joint venture agreements and banking/security documentation.

Callum Armstrong commented on the nomination: “It’s great to be shortlisted alongside a number of my peers. I’m fortunate to work with a great team at Stronachs and this recognition is as much a reflection of our collective efforts as it is of my individual work.

“I’m looking forward to continuing to drive success for our clients and the firm.

“Congratulations to all finalists, I look forward to celebrating at the awards later this year!”

Ross Gardner, Partner and Head of Corporate said: “We are delighted that Callum has been shortlisted in this year’s awards.

“This nomination is a well-deserved recognition of his hard work and underscores the exceptional legal services we provide to our clients.”

The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony at the Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa, Edinburgh on Thursday, 28 November.
