Silver Birch Interiors, proudly recognised as Scotland’s Best Kitchen Company for an incredible five years at the Scottish Home Improvement Awards, is reaching new heights—this time by expanding eastwards. With two showroom presences already established in Hamilton & Blantyre, the renowned kitchen specialist is set to open a brand-new state-of-the-art showroom in Livingston on the 27th of September 2025, marking a major milestone in its ambitious growth journey.

This exciting expansion is part of Silver Birch’s bold vision to scale its brand and operations, aiming to surpass £5 million in revenue over the next year. With a mission to transform lives through the creation of exceptional living spaces, the new showroom will serve as both an inspirational design hub and a strategic base to support clients, developers and partners  across the east of Scotland.

Located at the popular Livingston Shopping Centre & Designer Outlet—just a short drive from Edinburgh—the new 1,500 sq ft showroom and office space is undergoing a six-figure refurbishment, promising a premium experience for customers and collaborators alike.

Founder Alan Macgregor shared his excitement:

“I started Silver Birch with the goal of changing lives by designing and installing truly extraordinary kitchens. We’ve grown steadily over the past 11 years, and now, with this new showroom, we’re ready to show the east of Scotland what we’re all about. Livingston is the perfect location—it puts us at the heart of a vibrant region and positions us to collaborate even more closely with retail clients, top-tier builders, Developers and trusted trade partners.”

Since its inception, Silver Birch Interiors has evolved from working with individual homeowners to forging strong partnerships with small, medium and major developers, including CALA Homes. With a growing team of 23, the company has seen an impressive 35% average revenue growth over the past four years. 2025’s seen a steady ship while the Livingston branch is being created.

The Livingston expansion will also create new career opportunities, with plans to recruit 3–6 talented professionals to join the Silver Birch team in the next 6-12 months. This move aligns with recent investments in company culture and team development, including a new employee benefits package and a profit-sharing bonus model. Last year, team members received an additional 5.8% of their salary in bonuses—a testament to Silver Birch’s belief that when the business grows, everyone grows with it.

This moment marks not just an expansion of physical space, but a celebration of what’s possible when craftsmanship, innovation, and purpose come together; encompassing the company’s core values ‘We Lead, We Connect, We Deliver, We Care.’
