SHEPHERD Chartered Surveyors is bringing to market a former Arnold Clark motor dealership in Locharbriggs, Dumfries for lease or sale.

The modern single-storey unit is fitted-out to a high standard and provides a large showroom, offices, parts store and two workshop areas, together with staff and customer welfare facilities.

The building is positioned centrally within a largely rectangular shaped site, extending to 1.85 acres, which includes a surfaced forecourt providing around 110 lined spaces.

Dumfries is southwest Scotland’s main shopping and administrative centre. The town lies 75 miles south of Glasgow and 34 miles northwest of Carlisle, occupying a strategic location at the intersection of the A75, A76 and A701 trunk roads.

The property is located within a mixed commercial and residential district, around 3.5 miles northeast of Dumfries town centre. The site has an extensive and direct roadside frontage onto the A701 trunk road, connecting Dumfries to Moffat and the A74 motorway.

Fraser Carson, associate in Shepherd’s Dumfries office, said: “Whilst the property is well established as a motor dealership, it is also suited to a variety of alternative commercial uses, subject to Local Authority consents. In addition, the building was originally constructed as three individual units, therefore there is potential for multiple occupation.”

Purchase or rental offers are invited.
