EARLIER this week, leaders from award-winning catering and events company, Sodexo volunteered at the Edinburgh-based homeless charity, Cyrenians.
Four members of the senior sales team spent the day receiving and sorting donations, stock taking and creating food parcels for people living on the edge across the capital.
The Sodexo sales team features representatives throughout the UK, including Amanda Brown, UK Sales Director; Fiona McLellan, Head of Sales for Cultural Destinations; Stephanie Lee, Head of Sales for MICE UK; and Kate Nicholl, Head of Sales Development.

The Cyrenians have continued to impress us and the aim of our team day is to try and understand the challenges they face and how we can help their efforts today and in the future. As a team, our focus on 2020 is giving back and this is the first of many volunteering days we will carry out together.”
The Cyrenians work to tackle the causes and consequences of homelessness in Scotland.
Food poverty is a key element of many of its services; in addition to operating the FareShare depot for central and south-eastern Scotland they run cooking courses and community cook clubs across Midlothian and Fife.
The charity is a partner of Sodexo’s own initiative, Stop Hunger.
