Scottish licensing team retains top Chambers ranking for another consecutive year

77 TLT lawyers have been ranked as leaders in their field in Chambers UK 2021.

TLT ranked top in 7 different practice areas, including banking litigation, employment, licensing, and restructuring and insolvency. The firm was also ranked in 17 other practice areas.

TLT’s licensing practice in Scotland retained its Band 1 ranking, having ranked top in the practice area for several years. Partners Caroline Loudon and Stephen McGowan retained their Band 1 rankings, while legal director Niall Hassard moved up to Band 2.

14 TLT lawyers are ranked top in their practice area, three of which are newly ranked as Band 1 this year. Four lawyers have been newly ranked as ‘associates to watch’ and a further two newly listed as ‘star associates’.

John Wood, who was appointed as TLT’s managing partner in April this year, has been newly ranked as an ‘eminent practitioner’.
