Scottish law firm announces raft of staff promotions

A NUMBER of promotions have been announced across Wright, Johnston & Mackenzie LLP’s offices in Scotland.

The firm is celebrating the promotion of five members of staff; four to senior solicitor and one to associate. 

Emma Letham, from the firm’s family law team at its Glasgow office, is stepping up to the role of associate. With specialisms in adoption and permanence cases, Emma provides clients with advice on a range of matters including divorce, separation, co-habitation, kinship care and child contact cases.

Hannah Prentice and Alison Reid, who work in the private client team at the firm’s Inverness office, have each been promoted to senior solicitor.

They specialise in a range of in later life matters, including preparation of wills, trusts and power of attorneys; along with succession planning, tax and administering estates.

The firm has also announced the promotion of commercial property solicitors Sarajane Drake and Leanne Follan to senior solicitors.

Both Sarajane and Leanne are based in WJM’s Glasgow office, and work with a diverse client base including investors, sellers, developers, landlords and tenants, helping them through the process of buying, selling and leasing commercial property.
