Cathcart Associates has been appointed to secure quality IT candidates for crucial roles in UK public sector bodies such as the NHS, local government, universities, charities and blue light services.
The Edinburgh-based IT recruitment specialist won the contract with a new public sector framework primarily designed for the NHS but open to public sector organisations and government departments. NHS Procurement in Partnership and Crown Commercial Service (CCS) have joined forces in this new Workforce Alliance.
The appointment makes Cathcart Associates a leading provider to the framework in Scotland and across the UK, and marks a step change for the independent recruitment specialist as they continue their ambitious growth strategy.
Crown Commercial Service is the largest single procurer in the country. In 2018/19, it helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits worth £945 million. CCS currently operates over 100 frameworks.

The contract win sees Cathcart Associates named as a supplier on the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) and NHS Procurement in Partnership RM6160 Non-Clinical Temporary & Fixed term staffing framework.
The win cements their reputation as a trusted supplier to the public sector following their recent inclusion on the Digital Outcomes and Specialists (DOS) 4 framework, which will allow Cathcart Associates to supply recruitment services to key digital specialists in any public sector body or third sector organisation.
