An Edinburgh-based legal and property firm has announced plans to recruit a specialist to lead its efforts in preventing money laundering, as part of its commitment to maintaining the highest standards of compliance.
Ralph Sayer Solicitors & Estate Agents is creating a new position focused on ensuring the business meets all regulatory requirements designed to protect clients and the wider market.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for reviewing risks, reporting suspicious activity, keeping staff informed of legal changes, and working closely with auditors and regulators to safeguard the firm’s operations.

The firm is seeking applicants with at least two years’ experience in a similar anti-money laundering role, ideally with knowledge of UK Anti-Money Laundering and financial crime legislation as it applies to the legal sector.
Strong leadership skills will be important, with the ability to train, mentor and guide colleagues across the business.
