Scott Group appoints trio of new directors

SCOTT Group, the leading industrial supplies organisation, has made three key director appointments.

David Holmes, who has been with the business since 2010 has been promoted to Director of Information Technology; Danielle Kerr who joined as a divisional accountant in 2016 has been promoted to Finance Director of Scott Pallets’ Reconditioned business unit; and Bill McIntosh, who also joined in 2016 as a group accountant, has been promoted to the role of Finance Director of the Scott Pallets’ Manufacturing business unit.

David is responsible for all Group IT, business systems, IT security and communications systems, and is also responsible for the strategic planning and direction of this area in the business.

Danielle has played a key role in the growth and development of the Reconditioned business unit and wider Group over the years, and is now responsible for the reconditioned business unit finance team and continues to play a key role in strategic growth and objectives.

Bill now plays a key role in the financial stewardship and governance of the Manufacturing business unit while supporting the strategic growth and development of the company.

Following a successful recruitment campaign during 2021, Scott Group filled 126 vacancies throughout the UK across a wide variety of roles from HGV drivers and general operatives to finance and HR.
