Annie Diamond, director at Hot Tin Roof PR

HOT TIN ROOF, Scotland’s leading PR agency for digital and tech companies, has bolstered its senior team with the appointment of Annie Diamond to the position of director as it continues on its ambitious growth trajectory.

Diamond, who joins from rival Edinburgh firm, Muckle Media, brings with her over 18 years of PR experience. Her run in the industry has seen successful PR campaigns for the likes of Glenmorangie and Samsung.

Her experience and exceptional talent for PR was demonstrated through her role in a year-long campaign for Heriot-Watt University, called Year of Robotics, involving multiple colleagues from across the University. The campaign was awarded a Heist Marketing Award and Campaign of the Year at the Herald Further Education Awards. Diamond continues to act as a consultant to the University, most recently delivering a global campaign highlighting a scientific breakthrough in ultrasound imaging.

Speaking of her new role, Annie said: “I’m thrilled to join Hot Tin Roof at such an exciting time in its development. The dynamic agency is unique in Scotland with its specialist focus on tech and B2B PR. I’m a science nerd at heart, so working in Scotland’s bustling tech scene really appeals to me. I’m looking forward to being fully immersed in the sector.”

Jen Richards, account manager at Hot Tin Roof PR

The firm has also recently welcomed back Hot Tin Roof PR veteran, Jen Richards, after a year of maternity leave. Richards has been with Hot Tin Roof for over six years and has demonstrated strong skills in communication, editing, stakeholder liaison, and strategy.

Richards said: “It’s fantastic to be back with the team at Hot Tin Roof and see the progress the agency has made in the past 12 months. We have a number of innovative new clients, and the team has gone from strength to strength. I’m looking forward to working with Annie, getting involved in a number of exciting campaigns, and helping drive the business as it continues to evolve.”

Having expanded to manage international PR campaigns for clients like Smarter Grid Solutions, the agency has also recently acquired a number of high-profile clients, including Logan Energy and Cutitronics.

Sarah Lee, founder of Hot Tin Roof, said: “I am very proud of the Hot Tin Roof team. Having grown our portfolio and expanded our operations to include international campaigns, it was the perfect time to bring Annie on board.

“I am confident that with the addition of Annie, the return of Jen and with the experienced team we have in place that we can continue to thrive as Scotland’s only specialised tech PR agency.”
