Two Scottish businesses have been named among the winners of Deloitte’s UK’s Best Managed Companies 2026 programme, highlighting the strength and resilience of Scotland’s private sector.
Glasgow-headquartered intellectual property firm Murgitroyd and Dundee-based global people development company Insights are among 19 businesses recognised across the UK this year. Both companies have retained their place in the prestigious list, which celebrates excellence in private business performance.
An initiative of Deloitte Private, the UK’s Best Managed Companies programme showcases standout organisations that demonstrate exceptional management practices and sustained growth. Now in its second year in the UK, the programme is already well established globally, operating across more than 45 territories.
Murgitroyd advises clients across sectors including life sciences, engineering and technology, offering intellectual property services on a global scale. Meanwhile, Insights delivers people development solutions worldwide, with a focus on psychometric tools and immersive learning experiences.
Of the 19 companies recognised in 2026, ten are new entrants, while nine — including the two Scottish firms — have successfully retained their status, underlining consistent performance at the highest level.
