SENIOR Finance Recruitment firm Rutherford Cross, a part of the Livingston James Group, has appointed Hazel Wynn and Derek Lauder to the position of Director within the business.

Rutherford Cross has also welcomed four new consultants since Q4 2021, with two additional hires starting on the 1st March.

Both Wynn and Lauder have spent a number of years with Rutherford Cross based out of its Glasgow office where they headed up Rutherford Cross’ Senior Interim Finance offering.  As part of their new Director roles, Lauder will now lead the Interim business across Scotland while Wynn continues to manage the Glasgow operation with a new personal focus on permanent senior finance roles.

Commenting on her new role, Wynn said: “It is hugely exciting to be taking up this promoted role within Rutherford Cross. The finance recruitment market continues to experience significant growth, and as a result we are growing our team to meet market demand.”

Derek Lauder said, “I am very much looking forward to the challenge this new role will bring as we continue to work hard to support clients and candidates with their interim requirements in Scotland and beyond.”

Livingston James Group Board Director and Managing Director at Rutherford Cross Mark Lewis said, “I am pleased to announce the appointment of both Hazel and Derek to the roles of Director at Rutherford Cross.

“Both Derek and Hazel have been instrumental in growing Rutherford Cross into the business it is today. At Rutherford Cross, we are always focused on the impact of the appointments we make, and that includes those within our own organisation.  With activity within the senior finance recruitment market increasing and our team continuing to expand, this is a hugely exciting time for the business, and I am confident that Hazel and Derek will ensure that we grow from strength to strength.”

Rutherford Cross counts Weir Group, Arnold Clark, AGS Airports, J&J Denholm Group, SMS plc and Circularity Scotland Ltd amongst its clients and will be sponsoring the ICAS Admissions Ceremony in March 2022.
