LEADING accountancy firm Rennie Welch LLP, headquartered in the Borders region, has announced the promotion of two accomplished professionals, Lynn Miller and Ross Tinlin, to the esteemed role of Associate. This notable development marks a significant milestone for both individuals, who are the first to successfully complete Rennie Welch’s associate programme, initiated in 2021 to foster and enhance internal talent.

Lynn Miller, based in Rennie Welch’s Berwick office, brings a wealth of experience to her new role. Having served in general practice since 2002, she has established herself as a taxation specialist, providing crucial support to a diverse clientele, including families, partnerships, and corporate entities. Lynn joined Rennie Welch in 2014, having earned qualifications as a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser.

Ross Tinlin, situated in the Kelso office in the Scottish Borders, embarked on his career with Rennie Welch immediately after high school graduation in 2002. Over the past two decades, he has honed his expertise while working with a wide range of clients. Ross now specialises in company and charity accounts, as well as management accounting for various businesses.

Rennie Welch, headquartered in Kelso with additional offices in Berwick and Melrose, boasts a longstanding reputation as a specialist in agricultural accounting and taxation. In recent years, the firm has expanded its influence across diverse industries, including entrepreneurial ventures, retail, manufacturing, construction, hotel management, catering, and traditional trades.
