Seasoned recruitment specialist Danielle Scott has joined HRC Recruitment as the firm continues to expand its manufacturing and engineering (M&E) division.

Danielle has been appointed as a senior consultant at the independent recruitment consultancy’s Edinburgh office.

Danielle arrives from Brightworks, where she focussed on procurement and supply chain roles. With more than 18 years’ experience in sales and recruitment, she previously held a variety of positions at Change Recruitment, Escape Recruitment, First State Investments, and Standard Life Investments.

The latest appointment takes total headcount in HRC Recruitment’s M&E team to 12 – double its size at this point last year – spread across its Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Dundee offices.

Michelle Lennon, divisional manager at HRC Recruitment, said: “It’s been a strong start to the year for our M&E team. We have added two new market verticals – supply chain and procurement – to our initial offerings. Bringing in highly skilled recruiters has played a major part in our success as we continue to look to take pole position in the Scottish market.

“The team has come on leaps and bounds in the space of 12 months and we expect to ramp up our temporary placement offering shortly, in both the east and west of Scotland. Despite the much-discussed uncertainty caused by Brexit, there has been no slowdown in the need for M&E talent. Our clients continue to hire and Danielle will play a crucial role in helping many of them find the right people for their businesses.”

Danielle added: “I joined HRC Recruitment because of its ambition to be the top recruitment partner for manufacturing and engineering businesses in Scotland. I’m excited to help some of the best manufacturers in the country find the talent they need to deliver on their growth plans, while continuing to grow our own offering.”
