A COMPANY which helps SMEs to scale up by giving them access to experienced part-time directors is expanding in Scotland with the launch of its Edinburgh operation.

BoardroomAdvisors.co.uk has appointed Charlie Dickson to spearhead the operation and build its team on the east coast, from Edinburgh, through Dundee and Aberdeen, to Inverness.

Mr Dickson is aiming to build a team of up to eight senior advisors by September and the business is aiming to have 20 in place across Scotland by the end of the year.

He said: “Scotland is brimming with innovative firms, especially in areas such as finance, tech and life sciences. BoardroomAdvisors.co.uk provides part-time executives who understand the issues many of these businesses need to overcome to successfully scale-up.”

John Courtney, BoardroomAdvisors.co.uk founder, said:  “The addition of Charlie to the team is a great first step in enabling Scottish firms access the skills of senior professionals which can make a crucial difference to their success.”
