Podcast Studio Glasgow is pleased to announce the appointment of Fergus Reid as a Director, strengthening the studio’s leadership team as it continues its expansion across podcast production, training, and multimedia content services.

Reid brings more than three decades of experience in PR, stakeholder communications and strategic storytelling, alongside an established network across Scottish business, public sector, charity and community organisations. His appointment formalises a long-standing collaboration with studio co-founder Mark Hunter over the past six years..

Mark Hunter said: “Fergus has a rare ability to communicate the heart of what an organisation does. His background in PR, his network, and his passion for real, human storytelling make him a powerful addition to our team. We’re excited about what we’ll build together in 2026 and beyond.”

Reid’s role will focus on expanding the studio’s outreach, deepening client relationships, and supporting organisations to harness the fast-growing power of podcasting as part of their communication strategies. He will also contribute to the studio’s growing training division and develop new opportunities in videography, brand storytelling, and community-based content production.

Fergus Reid added: “Podcasting is now essential for organisations that want to communicate authentically. Joining Podcast Studio Glasgow feels like a natural next step. Mark, Cam and I share the same belief in the value of genuine voices and compelling stories, and I’m looking forward to helping bring that to more businesses and communities across Scotland.”
