CHARLOTTE Street Partners, the strategic consultancy based in Edinburgh and London, has promoted Sabina Kadić-Mackenzie to partner with immediate effect and hired Charlie Clegg as senior associate.
Kadić-Mackenzie joined Charlotte Street Partners in 2017 from the housing and homelessness charity Shelter Scotland, and has since made a significant impact on the business and its clients, advising a wide range of organisations on media relations, reputation management, employee and crisis communications and branding.
Clegg joins the firm from the Scottish Conservatives, where he has been working as an adviser to the head of strategy and party leader Douglas Ross MP, helping to develop policy and advising on communications. He takes up his role on Wednesday 9 December.
Laura Hamilton, managing partner, said: “This has been an uncertain time for everyone, but we are hugely impressed at the way the team has responded and continued to produce outstanding work and results for our clients. We’re delighted to recognise and reward Sabina’s exceptional contribution and to welcome Charlie to the team.”
“One of our core strategies for success is hiring the most talented people and encouraging their development and promotion. Sabina is a case in point, and we are so pleased to be able to reward an outstanding professional and colleague who works tirelessly to deliver for our clients day after day.
“We continue to look for new talent and opportunities to grow our core team and our team of consulting partners, with Charlie’s appointment the latest example of that appetite. We welcome him to the team at a crucial time for our firm and our clients, as we navigate the choppy waters of the ongoing pandemic and the UK’s changing relationship with Europe.”
Sabina Kadić-Mackenzie said: “It’s been a challenging but equally rewarding time for many of us and I have been pleased to play a part in developing the firm’s ambitious strategy for 2021 and beyond. Our capable and dynamic team, as well as our fantastic clients, make every day a real pleasure and I am thrilled to be promoted to partner. I’m confident that we can embrace progress with creativity and difference in the months ahead.”
