Dance music heavyweights Carl Cox, Sasha & John Digweed, MK and Leftfield are set to play Pavilion Festival this weekend, as the Ayr beach event returns for its biggest edition to date across the May bank holiday (2nd–3rd May).

Now in its fourth year, the seaside festival expects 15,000 music fans over the weekend on Ayr beach, with organisers unveiling full set times, site maps and a first look at what fans can expect from its biggest and most immersive edition to date.

At the heart of the site sits Pavilion’s giant, fully weatherproof Big Top main stage, hosting 8,000 fans under one roof with an immersive, high-spec production build. Expect state-of-the-art sound, large-scale LED visuals, bespoke lighting design and pyrotechnics, transforming the beachside setting into a world-class arena from day to night. Ayr’s McVicar will also debut his Party People Show for the first time in Scotland during his headline set.

Across the weekend, fans can explore four stages and takeovers, including STREETrave, Sub Club, The Rave Cave, and Pavilion Arms hosted by London’s Lab54, each delivering its own distinct sound and atmosphere.

Alongside the music, festivalgoers can expect a wide selection of street food traders, bars and experiential spaces, designed to keep energy high from gates open through to the final headline moments.

With sunshine forecast and demand at an all-time high, Pavilion Festival is set to deliver its most memorable edition yet.

Founded by global DJ Ewan McVicar and STREETrave legendary promoter Ricky Magowan, the festival brings together global icons and homegrown talent for two days of electronic music by the seaside.

PAVILION 2026: WHAT TO EXPECT

Saturday on the Electric Brae Main Stage sees Ewan McVicar kick off the weekend with a special back-to-back set alongside his brother Rory McVicar. They’ll be joined by international house star MK, legendary electronic act Leftfield, plus underground favourites Dr Banana playing B2B with Sally C and Scottish selector LA LA.

Sunday will see dance music icon Carl Cox headline Pavilion, returning to Ayr for the first time since 2013. He’ll be joined by legendary duo Sasha and John Digweed, who will perform their only Scottish show, making Pavilion a rare chance for fans north of the border to see them live. Also appearing on Sunday’s Main Stage are Anna Tur, Jon Mancini, Collin Patterson and Bob Jeffries.

Beyond the Main Stage, Pavilion will feature a range of additional stages, including the Sub Club Stage on Saturday with Optimo B2B with McVicar, Roza Terenzi, Babyccino and a full Subculture takeover with Harri, Domenic Cappello, Telford, and Stevie Cox.

Sunday’s STREETrave Stage will celebrate classic dance anthems with the S Man – Roger Sanchez, Alison Limerick, Tony Di Bart, BASSHEADS and late 80s Chicago house legend, Tyree Cooper.
