LEADING PR and Public Affairs agency, Pagoda, has started the first quarter of 2020 with a run of new contracts with both private and public sector organisations.

New contracts for Pagoda include a UK-wide consumer relations and digital campaign for bespoke timber frame provider, Frame Technologies, as well as two clients in its specialist B2B and technical division: manufacturing cleaning solutions provider, Fraser Technologies; and transport systems specialist, ESP group.

New clients have also been added to the agency’s tourism portfolio, including a two-year contract with the National Museums Scotland and a project for Stirling Old Town Jail. In the public sector, Pagoda has taken on regional campaigning for NHS Lanarkshire.

Meanwhile Pagoda’s public affairs division has secured additional work for the Royal College of Occupational Therapists, expanding the remit into England, as well as other contracts including charities and public sector organisations.

Managing director, Angela Casey, said it had been a busy few months for the Pagoda team: “It’s great to be starting the new decade on a high, with an expansion of our portfolio of clients we are proud to work with. The new account wins are testament to our reputation for excellence in both delivery and client service, and a powerful motivator for our expanding team.”

In the last year, Pagoda has strengthened its senior team by promoting Holly Russell and appointing Colin McFarlane to Director positions in the agency.

Colin McFarlane is the current Secretary of the Association for Scottish Public Affairs (ASPA) and Holly Russell is a member of Women in Tourism and an expert in B2B communications.

Pagoda is based in Edinburgh and Newcastle and offers consultancy in public affairs; digital and online media; SEO; media relations, community consultation and wider communications.

Pagoda works across a wide range of sectors, from travel & tourism to healthcare, renewables, property, construction and food & drink. In October 2019 the firm collected an industry award for Best Use of Content at the CIPR PRide Awards.

The agency is one of five Scottish based PR companies on the Scottish Government roster.
