Edinburgh-based public affairs agency, Pagoda, has appointed Colin McFarlane as a Director.

A high profile public affairs practitioner with ten years’ experience within the Scottish Parliament and House of Commons, Colin will oversee the public affairs division of the business.  He brings strong expertise in high level strategic communications and public policy understanding, as well as consultancy skills from his previous role at Indigo.  Currently Secretary of ASPA (Association for Scottish Public Affairs), Colin takes on a senior leadership role at Pagoda.

Colin’s appointment follows on from the recent promotion of skilled PR practitioner, Holly Russell to Director and further boosts the growing senior team.

Managing Director, Angela Casey, comments: “We’re thrilled to welcome Colin to Pagoda.  As a business, we are well known and respected for our public policy and political communications, and this appointment further strengthens our team.  With the recent promotion of Holly Russell too, we are bringing together one of the best skilled senior teams in our industry in Scotland.”
