SAVILLS, on behalf of Kiltane (RM) Ltd, has let 37A George Street in Edinburgh to Jimmy Fairly UK Ltd.

The optician and glasses designer has agreed a new 10-year lease for the 979 sq ft retail unit, which was previously occupied by Carl Scarpa and will pay a rent of £82,500 per annum.

Stuart Moncur, head of national retail at Savills, comments: “George Street continues to be one of Edinburgh’s premier retail destinations, providing Jimmy Fairly with an excellent location for its growing store portfolio. The fact we were able to secure a new lease, back to back with the departing occupier, is testament to the street’s appeal and an excellent result for all involved.”

Ewan Mackay Property Consultants advised Jimmy Fairly and Rob Alston Retail advised Carl Scarpa.
