Great British Energy (GBE) has launched an expert Energy Taskforce, bringing together business, industry, and academic leaders to help accelerate the UK’s energy transition and ensure it is delivered fairly and effectively.

The first regional group, the Aberdeen Energy Taskforce, was announced recently to focus on harnessing the North east of Scotland’s world-class energy expertise. David Whitehouse, Chief Executive of Offshore Energies UK (OEUK), has been invited to join the team.

With more than 30 years’ experience in the energy sector, David Whitehouse has been a leading voice for the industry, advocating for policies that support investment, jobs, and innovation during the UK’s energy transition.
