23/05/2019

Aberdeen-based facilities management firm Richard Irvin is to open new offices in Aberdeen and Stirling.

The facilities management division was saved when private equity firm Rcapital stepped in saving 337 jobs in the £1.1m deal.

The firm will establish new headquarters in the South of Aberdeen while a new office is established at Castle Business Park in Stirling to facilitate contract management in the south.

The firm has also made four senior appointments.

Mark Ritchie becomes finance and support services director, Iain McGettrick is named as financial controller, Stuart Lawrie has been appointed as division director, managed services and Joanna Bunting takes on the newly created role of business development manager.

Managing director Mark Buchan said: “Richard Irvin is entering an exciting new phase in its growth and development. The appointments and new offices announced today will ensure that we can continue to build our client base and the strength of the business, whilst maintaining the excellent relationships we have with our customers, thanks to a relentless focus on delivery and compliance.”
