Entertainment destination GRID Braehead has announced the arrival of Adventure Land Soft Play, opening its first-ever site at the centre in April.  This new addition brings a fresh family-focused attraction to the GRID’s dynamic and growing leisure offer.

Adventure Land Soft Play is a new-to-market soft play concept, with the Braehead venue marking the brand’s debut location. Designed for children aged 6 months to 11 years, the new attraction features a dedicated two-storey indoor play space with interactive themed areas and activities for children to climb, slide and explore, as well as special lighting effects to bring it to life.

The opening reflects GRID Braehead’s continued focus on developing its leisure offer to remain fresh and relevant for visitors. A dynamic entertainment destination, GRID is enjoying a transformative period thanks to a fresh brand identity and brand-new website, which has seen a 46% increase in web traffic since launch.  The centre has more diverse incoming attractions to be announced soon, creating a blend of experiences and F&B brands that will underpin GRID as a destination of regional and national significance.

Adventure Land Soft Play’s arrival perfectly complements the leisure brands already in place at GRID, including Odeon IMAX, tenpin, Gravity and Paradise Island Adventure Golf, as well as a multitude of F&B brands including Five Guys, Nando’s and Pizza Express.  Adventure Land Soft Play brings a new option for younger families that will extend dwell time and build on GRID’s appeal as a day out destination.

Bruce Harley, Centre Manager at GRID Braehead, commented: “Adventure Land Soft Play is a great addition to the mix at GRID and further enhances the range of activities available for families visiting the centre. As we continue to evolve as a leisure destination, it’s important that we offer experiences for visitors of all ages, and Adventure Land Soft Play will provide a dedicated space for younger children.”

The opening comes during a significant period for GRID Braehead, following a £12.6m investment programme, the new Laser IMAX installation at Odeon and forthcoming upgrades from Funstation and Paradise Island Adventure Golf. More exciting important announcements are expected in the coming months as the destination continues to grow its leisure and hospitality offer.
