LEADING Scottish property consultancy Galbraith has moved to new premises at 18 George Street in the heart of Edinburgh’s New Town.
The new office provides a modern flexible working environment for the team, with a large open plan area and a range of flexible spaces to foster interaction and collaboration, and is entirely paperless. It is also part of the firm’s commitment to reduce its carbon footprint.
There are secure lockers for cycles and staff showers, to facilitate active travel options.
James Towers of Galbraith’s building consultancy team based in Edinburgh, said: “The new office is in the heart of the New Town and provides a fresh new flexible working environment, fostering collaboration and creativity. As a firm we are working to reduce our carbon footprint by a variety of means, including hybrid and electric vehicles, going paperless, embracing hybrid working, providing recycling stations and EV charging points at all our offices. The firm also recently launched a Cycle to Work Scheme.
“The ability to cycle to work is very popular with employees so anything we can do to support that is also a benefit. It’s a great fit for the firm and for all of us who work in Edinburgh.”
Galbraith is a diversified property consultancy with expertise in commercial and residential property sales and lettings, building consultancy, rural management, farm and land sales, energy advice and forestry. The firm has 13 offices across Scotland and the north of England.
