Hotel Indigo, York Place, Edinburgh has appointed Kuldeep Badesha as the hotel’s new general manager.

Kuldeep started her career in hospitality in Edinburgh some 15 years ago and has since held senior roles in hotels throughout the UK for the past five years.  This new appointment overseeing the 60-room hotel in the heart of Edinburgh sees her return to the city following two years in Glasgow.

Kuldeep said of her new role: “It is great to be back in the heart of Scotland.  Having started my hospitality journey 15 years ago here in Edinburgh, the city has always held a special place in my heart.

“As the general manager of Hotel Indigo, Edinburgh, I am excited to reconnect with many contacts and collaborate with local businesses which share the same ethos and values as we do.  The hotel holds a special place in the heart of the community and the team and I wish for this to continue.  With a growing number of hotels in the city, Hotel Indigo, York Place remains a preferred hotel for so many and, in a similar fashion to the skyline of Edinburgh, is evolving to provide wow moments to our guests.”

Stuart Bailey, CEO of Splendid Hospitality, said: “Kuldeep brings such a wealth of knowledge and understanding not just of the industry but the city too.  We know she will be a great asset to the hotel.”
