Edinburgh events venue, The Hub, has appointed Abigail Delia Clark as Head of Events Sales.

Abigail brings almost 20 years of experience working in sales, events and hospitality, including ten years at Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa. Most recently, Abigail worked with local DMC, Atlas Travel Solutions, setting up and establishing the MICE side of the business. 

Originally from Malta, Abigail brings a wealth of national and international sales, events, and MICE expertise to the venue.

Abigail will lead the team promoting the venue as one of Edinburgh’s premier private events spaces and play a key role in achieving the company’s growth goals, as well as building on the venue’s outstanding reputation for service and delivery to delegates.

Abigail has a passion for the hospitality sector and specifically food and drink. Talking about her appointment, she said: “I’m incredibly excited to be joining The Hub, which is such an iconic venue.  I’m looking forward to working with the team to position the venue as one of the best private event locations in the city for corporate and social events, including conferences, private dinners and weddings.”

Commenting on Abigail’s appointment, General Manager of The Hub, Fi Morley said: “Abigail is a very welcome addition to our team. Her passion, along with her operational background and event and sales experience, will help develop one of the finest hospitality venues in Edinburgh.”

The Hub, situated at the top of the historic Royal Mile, is one of Edinburgh’s most dramatic venues.  The magnificent Grade A Listed building is renowned for its integration of contemporary design and facilities within classical Victorian architecture.  It has a richly decorated Main Hall, elegant Dunard Library and vibrant Cafe Hub, which are ideal for gala dinners, weddings, ceilidhs, exhibitions and special events that demand a flexible space and creative edge.
