Two new directors have been appointed to the board of Apropos by DJ Alexander as the firm builds up to the launch of its innovative new property portal in the New Year.
The appointments of Nick Maunder and Matthew Garstang as board directors reflect the firm’s desire to grow their already strong senior management team to deliver on their expanding service which will transform the firm from being solely Scottish based to covering the whole of the UK.
Nick Maunder is the Director of Operations and Chief Technical Officer with the firm and has been instrumental in creating and delivering the bespoke Apropos software platform along with 31 staff based in the UK and India. Nick has extensive experience of delivering large scale software projects and was previously the Chief Operating Officer with global ATM software company KAL.
As Nick explained: “Developing and delivering a bespoke software platform is always a challenge but one that I relish. We have created something unique with Apropos and I, and my team, are very proud of what we have achieved. I believe that it will be seen as innovative, unique, and a vanguard of the way property platforms develop in the future.”
Matthew Garstang is the Finance Director for Apropos by DJ Alexander and has been integral in strengthening and developing the financial strength of the business as it gears up for growth. Matthew is a qualified CA and has previously worked for PWC and Grant Thornton. Most recently he was the director of finance for the Crieff Hydro group of hotels and remains a non-executive director there.
