THE Advance Construction Group has expanded its portfolio of services with the launch of a new specialist division WRS Structures Ltd, delivering reinforced concrete frames and structured steel buildings, and light gauge steel contract works.

The company is based in Bellshill, Lanarkshire and is spearheaded by Managing Director, Graham Wright who is a veteran in the construction industry. The company has its sights set on securing construction projects throughout the UK.

Graham Wright said, “This is a really exciting time. My background is in delivering complex commercial and industrial contracts and we’re building a great team here, and also have a network of existing long-term customer relationships. With the support of our parent company, we can offer companies a reliable “one-stop shop” for a variety of contract works, from earthworks, structured steel buildings to wind and waterproof buildings.”

Core services will include the logistical planning, management and implementation for temporary and permanent works design; deep basement reinforced concrete construction; top down construction; core construction, hybrid building structures, wind and solar energy and wastewater treatment plants.

Seamus Shields, Managing Director of Advance Construction Scotland, added, “We’re delighted to have Graham on board and the launch of WRS Structures Ltd further cements our ambitious growth strategy and represents a natural progression for the business.

“Graham has worked on many high profile challenging contracts and his knowledge, skills and extensive networks will be a great asset for the division.”

An avid skydiving enthusiast, Graham recently took to the skies to launch the new business.

He added, “I’m a fully qualified skydiver and love nothing more than spending my weekends jumping out of planes so it seemed only right to grab a friend and fly the flag for the new company, literally over Errol in Perthshire.”
