N-SEA, a leading IMR subsea services provider, has celebrated a successful end to 2019 for its Dubai division, with contract awards exceeding $15 million, as well as significant growth of its workforce.

The projects will see N-Sea complete saturation and air diving scopes in Egypt, as well conducting pipeline decommissioning and spool piece installations in Abu Dhabi. This month, the company will also commence two civil engineering jobs; one involving site investigations for a port and industrial zone developer, again in Abu Dhabi, and jetty repairs for a national operator in Sharjah during the next nine months.

To support the extensive project work, N-Sea has increased its Dubai-based personnel from two employees to ten, since April 2019.

Asa Gamble, Managing Director for N-Sea in the Middle East, said: “The recent investment in our team signals our growing presence in the Middle East market and we will continue to expand our office staff towards the end of this year and into 2020.

“Throughout 2020, we also plan to roll out our full survey capabilities in the region, diversifying into a neighbouring Gulf Cooperation Council country and moving survey, diving and ROV assets. It’s an exciting time for us and I look forward to the year ahead.”

N-Sea specialises in subsea services for the renewable, oil and gas and telecom/utilities industries, as well as for civil contracting communities. With a focus on safe and efficient operations, N-Sea provides near shore, offshore and survey services to asset operators and tier 1 contractors.
