Continuous feedback platform MyCustomerLens is poised for UK-wide growth after being selected to participate in the PwC Scale SportTech Programme.

Called Scale | Sport Tech, the expert programme is specifically tailored for “scale up” companies with validated products, finance and scalability.

“There are a lot of accelerator programmes in the market aimed at helping early-stage companies, but there are not many to help companies scale,” said Rob Cowdrey, PwC’s Scale | Sport Tech Programme Lead.

The programme has three core components that provide businesses with the tools to effectively and efficiently scale their business. Curated events give founders the opportunity to meet and pitch to the PwC extended network of industry decision-makers, expanding their commercial opportunities. Group masterclasses provide valuable insights through a combination of PwC and industry experts. Finally, individual bespoke counsel including coaching and business support gets each business fit to scale.

“Making it onto PwC’s Scale programme is a great step forwards for us” said Paul Roberts, CEO and co-founder of MyCustomerLens. “PwC has an incredible network of experts, clients and alumni which will give us access to new customers and new channels to market.”

“The programme comes at an exciting time for the business. We are also through to the final of Scottish Edge, the UK’s largest business funding competition, where we will be pitching for a share of the £1.3m prize pot. Through both processes we are meeting a growing number of business leaders and investors who see the huge market potential for a continuous feedback platform that can deliver simple actionable insights”.

The Scale | Sport Tech programme is being run by PwC UK in partnership with London Sport and iSportconnect, the world’s largest private sports business network for sport. The programme will culminate in an Executive Evening, the programme’s corporate pitching event, where the cohort will present to C-Suite Executives from across the sports industry as well as PwC Partners and Directors.

The UK sport and fitness industries are booming and projected to grow by 7% over the next 3-5 years. Paul Roberts noted that “the businesses that lead this growth will be those who have their finger on the pulse of consumer expectations.”

“But currently most businesses have customer experience blind spots. Instead of having their finger on the pulse, they still rely on annual surveys, closed questions and siloed data. In contrast, MyCustomerLens enables them to collect and analyse multiple sources of text feedback, in real-time.”
