MPH Boilers announces Celtic FC Community Partnership

30/01/2024

CENTRAL Scotland’s leading boiler installation and servicing expert, MPH Boilers, has entered a Celtic FC Community Partnership. A reflection of the company’s ethos for community first, the association is driven by MPH Boiler’s desire to align itself with a brand that is famous for supporting those who need it most and nurturing a spirit of generosity and kindness.

Managing director of MPH Group, Ewan McLean explains: “Celtic FC’s dedication to community and excellence aligns perfectly with our corporate mission. There is an historic tradition at MPH to extend a hand to those in need and we have upheld our ancestors’ values by committing to help combat food insecurity in Scotland. Celtic’s history is imbued with charity and good deeds as its founder was on a mission to feed the poor of Glasgow and so there is a certain harmony to this Partnership.

“Our company’s dedication to quality and service has been recognised by our industry in recent years and we want to get the message out there to potential customers that we operate with best practice and supply products and services that will, ultimately, help them to cut costs. We’re a reputable name that doesn’t inflate costs and is passionate about giving back to the community and we want people to be aware of our values as well as our business offering.”

The deal, brokered by sports rights specialist, Eleven Sports Media, will enable MPH Boilers to reach a wide audience, benefiting from a partnership programme that allows it to connect with supporters at every stage of the matchday, utilising powerful Celtic FC fan engagement platforms and digital displays, including pitch-facing LED and big screens installed around the stadium to create the highest impact.

Branding opportunities will be made available to the company through Eleven’s award-winning StadiumTV and StatTV, a dedicated club channel for fans, to engage supporters on arrival. Alongside these channels, MPH Boiler’s branding will appear on Eleven’s online StatZone content and on match-led social media posts, via platforms including Facebook and Twitter.

MPH Boiler will also be invited to attend exclusive, private, networking events, which provide a platform for like-minded businesses to help each other grow. Ewan sees this as a chance to distinguish MPH Group from its competition: “We’ll use these events to set out our stall and raise awareness about certain practices within the industry. For instance, we often observe boiler competitors reducing costs by opting for chemical flushes instead of power flushes during new boiler installations, a practice that can lead to future problems and potentially void boiler warranties. At MPH Boilers, we ensure all our boiler installations are performed in strict adherence to the manufacturer’s guidelines, including a comprehensive power flush to guarantee system cleanliness and warranty validity.

“Similarly, we will aim to debunk the myth that high-end quality always comes with a high-end price tag in a bid to promote our kitchen and bathroom division.”

MPH Group is expanding its presence with a new, state-of-the-art kitchen, bathroom and boiler showroom in Dunfermline, Fife. The company was recently awarded the title of ‘Boiler Installer of the Year’ and were finalists in the Herald Scottish Family Business Awards for ‘Commitment to the Community’ and ‘Scottish Family Business of the Year’ awards. It was also a H&V News Awards finalist for ‘Small Company Achievement of the Year’.

Last year saw the launch of MPH Group’s Heat2Eat campaign, which has already raised £17,000 for local charities and foodbanks and has been tabled in the House of Commons, with an early day motion recognising the efforts of those involved.
